"WALT & EL GRUPO" is the story of Walt Disney's journey to South America in 1941 as a part of the "Good Neighbor" program
sponsored by the U.S. State Department during the opening chapters of WWII. (They sent Orson Welles and Leopold Stowkowski as well.) It's a film about art and politics that offers a glimpse into the
lives and times of the select group of artists that accompanied Disney as well as their Latin American counterparts with whom they exchanged ideas.
